Ocean Ridge Airport: Runway 2560', hours 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., lights by prior arrangement. No fuel. Extreme wind turbulence on windy days. Watch for deer on runway.

Because this area is sheep country, all dogs must be kept leashed and under control. Even small dogs can do major damage to a flock, and loose pets may be in danger of being shot by ranchers or animal control officers to protect the sheep. All dogs must be immunized against rabies.

  Local volunteer fire departments and rescue squads in Jenner, Timber Cove, Sea Ranch, Gualala-Anchor Bay , Point Arena-Manchester, Irish Beach, Annapolis, Odiyan, and Elk. State Department of Forestry and Fire Protection stations in Sea Ranch and Point Arena.

CDF Fire permits required for outdoor burning from May 1 until the rainy season begins in October. Air pollution permits required year-round.
